Dun Laoghaire company, Oghma Services announces
first win in South Africa with €850k contract

Dun Laoghaire
firm Oghma Services Ltd, which provides technical
education and training services to the ICT sector, today announced
that it has secured a contract in South Africa
worth €850k
with Hambisana Media & Technologies Ltd.
Hambisana is a South African software
development and consultancy company, specialising in the
delivery of multimedia products and services to the Digital
Broadcast and Telecommunications industries.
The contract is the first that Oghma
Services has secured with Hambisana as part of its Digital
Broadcast and IPTV global solutions service portfolio. (IPTV
is the delivery of High Definition, Standard Definition
TV services over the internet.) Under the contract, Oghma
will provide training and training material for Hambisana’s
client training in Africa, Europe and the Americas.

Crinnion, MD of Oghma Services said:

The contract came about following
Oghma’s participation in Enterprise Ireland’s trade mission
to South Africa in September 2009 and subsequent introductions
organised by Enterprise Ireland. Oghma also benefited from
Enterprise Ireland’s Business Accelerator Programme which
enabled Oghma to employ a locally based business development
executive in South Africa.
